Recycled Wool Toss-N-Tug Toy--New Product!

We scrounge local thrift stores (& our neighbors’ free piles) to get discarded sweaters, most of them with a hole or two. Then we wash them in hot water with the gentlest, most natural soap (no detergent—AUCK!). Then we cut them into long strips, braid them, knot the ends with half-hitches, and do a figure-eight in the center (the little scraps are being saved for stuffing toys).
Clementine loves to toss this toy to herself and jumps higher for it than anything she’s ever played with—just check out the photos. Keeping old sweaters out of landfills one Toss-N-Tug Toy at a time! woof :)
